Is there much difference between renting a car in - terminal vs. off - terminal? Traveling with my wife and a 2 year old and if it's a major inconvenience to get off property Enterprise to pick up a rental car, I will pay a few extra bucks to rent from someone at the airport Alamo- No big diff. However, off - terminal MAY be cheaper. If it's basically right near the airport, it may not be THAT much cheaper. But if you're willing to ride a taxi to an in - town location for instance, a Hertz Local Edition location, you can often get a significant discount if you rent for enough days and the cab ride is not that much. You might also try checking online sites to see what is the lowest rate you can get in a city, then ask the airport location to match that. Worst case, you may get a free vehicle cl upgrade. - I think of terminal will be slightly cheaper but it so easy to collect the car straight of the plane and return it to the airport when you leave. Also recommended a sat nav. Remember if you get it of terminal you will have to pay a taxi or something to collect it and to return to the airport. have a great holiday
- They will all be about the same on or off site. Alamo is actually cheaper than Enterprise, btw. If you're flying into Orlando International you should check out Payless Car Rentals. They're downstairs with all the other car rental booths in the airport. They're fairly inexpensive like $7 a day with unlimited mileage for a compact and can supply you with a child's seat.
